Helsinki City's website UI Design

During my time at Agenda Helsinki, I had the opportunity to give a facelift to the user interface of Helsinki's official website in 2017. Working closely with a senior designer from our team, our primary objective was to align the website's design with Helsinki City's updated visual identity.

It was important to maintain the existing site's underlying structure while infusing a fresh look. To achieve this, we introduced new font styles and incorporated design elements inspired by the identity's wave motif. Additionally, we ensured that every aspect of the website complied with Helsinki City's strong emphasis on accessibility. This commitment to accessibility had a notable impact on various interactive elements. As a result, Helsinki City's website proudly achieved the highest AAA accessibility rating according to WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
