The floor projection was created for a larger installation where another team created an artwork experienced white lying on a bed that can be seen on the background.

Taxonomy: Gates Gondii

The piece consists of three holograms inside black boxes, the spectator can peak into. The piece was built and presented at a laboratory-themed music event, and represented imaginary microscopic samples captured in boxes.

Description:

When the athletics of our time have gone through the eras of COVID, vaccines, 5G, moon landing, and Bill Gates, what can be found in their blood? How do the impacts of these factors intertwine with vitamin D and anabolic steroids? Take a peek yourself and examine the samples Robert F. Kennedy collected for us for the purposes of this research.

(Disclaimer: The artist themselves believes in science & vaccines, this piece is not representative of their views)

Aalto AR storybook

Aalto AR Storybook was a university-funded project created by me and my artist colleague Jen Lynn. Aalto University has a permanent exhibition space where they showcase the university to high-profile visitors, such as international guests and politicians. The university representative wanted a new media product exhibiting the Aalto University, thus the concept of the AR storybook was born. The storybook consists of handful of illustrations the spectator can see coming alive via a tablet. Together with Jen Lynn, we created the illustrations, animated them using After Effects and Unity, and developed the AR app using Unity game engine and EasyAR plugin.

The Spirit of Otaniemi - Virtual Campus Tour

The Sprit of Otaniemi - VR campus tour is a 360 film created with Blender and Unity game engine. My role in the project was the technical artist/developer. I was provided the 3D assets which I composited, animated, and brought to life with the help of Blender and Unity, creating custom VR camera setups, path animations, transition animations, and more. The concept relies heavily on the 3D maps Espoo City has recorded in its map services. The core team consisted of me and two other members, a sound editor creating and recording the sound effects, music, and narration, and a director/producer responsible for the initial ideation of the concept and writing the script .
